What is it?
This live, instructor-led test prep program is built for electricians who are serious about getting licensed. You will learn how to navigate the NEC quickly, work through real exam-style questions, and build the confidence you need to walk into your test ready.

Each week, you will join live sessions led by Master Electrician Dustyn Marks, get step-by-step guidance, and have the opportunity to ask questions in real time so you are never stuck guessing what to study or how to approach the exam.
This course is a good fit for:
• Electricians preparing for their state licensing exam (Journeyman’s or Master’s)
• Apprentices getting close to testing
• Anyone who has struggled with the NEC or failed an exam before
Class information:
• Classes are held on Zoom (Online)
• We meet weekly for 12 weeks. 3 hours per week. 36 hours total.
• This class is open to anyone getting ready to take their state electrical license exam. We will be preparing based on the 2026 National Electrical Code® book.
• Live instruction so you can ask questions and actually understand the code
• Classes are recorded, and you will have access to them for one year after the end of class.
• Access to over 250 self-paced online practice questions.
• Required: National Electrical Code (NEC) 2026 book (NFPA 70)
• Required: Access to a printer
WHAT WE cover:
Code navigation, Ohm’s Law, conductor ampacity calculations, pipe fill, box fill, grounding and bonding, voltage drop, continuous/non-continuous loads, motors, transformers, load calculations, Minnesota Rules and Laws packet, TONS of general practice questions, and test taking strategies!
